The Way I See It ... These recent past few days

***PiliPINAS Election***
These days the social media, mostly FB, had steamed so much about the upcoming Philippine election. It was amusing at first but down into the homestretch I think most if not all who seemed to have one opinion over the other, had gone to the lowest point! Belittling one's preference, just to get the other one to agree with you and vice versa had been the common theme. If I think about it,the only winner on these type of sniping on each other are the political candidates who had succeeded in twisting truths with lies, morality with altruism, good intent with mere politicking. It's a "zarzuela" extra-ordinaire which I think many of us really enjoyed but at to what extent???? I just hope after the May election, whoever emerge as the people's choice, as a NATION, we can move to support and come together as ONE to rebuild and contribute for our country. After all, we cannot expect that the problem will be solved by just one man or a woman, the President or the Vice President or who ever will be elected or appointed in the government.  Whining is only for those who seem to think that they have learn much from the past, or grew up in the present predicament and/or who thinks they have the knowledge of what they think is good for the future.

*** Foul mouth or sensitive skin (balat sibuyas)***

In general, I think that it's human nature where you will not always like how someone would utter words, be it a gutter language or a diplomatic prolific monger, because it depends on your background or your so-called understanding of the situation. So I think, all these recent hoolabaloo also can be pinned down on the many people's "balat sibuyas" complex.

In general, I think Filipinos have the tendency to react and say or act on words that we hear around, or read for that matter. Whether you're a  jologs or a conio, we just really have the tendency to feel that we always have to react whether good or bad, and brew or scrutinize whoever said things what many would hail as "unacceptable" to the guidelines or standards.
.
Who among us at one point in our public or private lives had uttered despicable comments and we felt it was just right to SAY without regard on what the so-called righteous would think. I have been in some situation before where I called some people DUMB or STUPID or "GAGO" out of shear emotional discontent over some decisions made in the past. I was sorry then for when I said those it was late for my choice of the channel in which I uttered those disappointment was really out of frustration. However, that channel also paved the way for me to be heard and for those who felt I maligned them in some way (though I never named anybody) also perhaps respected who I am. At the end of the day, the attitude of moving forward from the situation proved to be more important than what was said and done in that instance.

What I say here is , if the person who is DUTERTE already addressed the outpouring thoughts or comments about what he said during his speech, then perhaps you should all put a REST on yours as well. If you hate him, you hate him , as others probably hate who ever you're rooting for in this election.

***Debate Pa-more?***

I think the people had heard enough or seen enough from the so-called debates over the last couple of months. If you think about it, the forums or debates were not really debates that showcased platforms and plans of each candidate but all just became an arena of character assassination and a venue that brewed petty social media "he said/she said" fan fare fight which only perhaps widen more gaps in the society.

Do we really need to further that gap at this point? Think about it! So I guess what I'm saying, at this point if you have already made you opinion about all these election related themes, just keep your thoughts and move on . The best thing now is exercise your rights to suffrage and pray that your choice makes a difference for the benefit of the many!

But as individuals, you're also obliged to be a hard working citizen, be diligent, be responsible and be a patient member of the society that would inspire rather than conspire against each other. That's what is gonna matter in all of these AFTER ALL.
